Boards are sawn timber, which is one of the most demanded products in the timber market. The possibilities of using wooden boards in construction and carpentry are practically unlimited. The demand for good quality boards has always been high.

Classified by type of lumber, boards are products of sawn wood with a thickness of less than 38 mm and a width of more than 75 mm. Further size variations within the mentioned limits depend on the expected type of application. Boards are made from different species of coniferous or deciduous trees. The quality of the boards is determined according to the lumber quality classes.

    • Finishing boards – high-quality boards used for facade or interior cladding. According to the type of connection, it is divided into planks with a tongue or a half tongue. The tenoned boards are connected to each other with a groove and tenon. Half-pound boards are joined overlapping each other.
    • Floor boards – solid wood boards for laying the floor.
    • Terrace boards - designed for outdoor use. Characteristic grooves on the surface of the boards. If necessary, they are impregnated for protection from external environmental factors.
    • Sauna boards - for use in a room with high humidity and high temperature.
  • Board surface types:
    • smooth planed surface;
    • finely sawn surface;
    • polished surface;
    • brushed surface.
  • Types of board surface treatment:
    • painted;
    • oiled;
    • impregnated for increased protection against fire, moisture and insects;
    • treated with an antiseptic to protect against mold, rot and insects.
