Round logs and sawn logs are the timber that is actively purchased by both woodworking companies and timber merchants. These timbers belong to the assortment of sawn timber, which has a wide range of further uses and processing possibilities.

Round logs are unbranched conifers or deciduous trees of various diameters, lengths and benefits, and their offcuts with bark, which are used as raw material for further processing. Sawn logs are logs that are processed into sawn timber (including wood chips) or sleepers using the longitudinal sawing method. High-quality timber from trees grown in Latvia - both logs, sawn logs and freshly sawn logs - is a highly valued export product and is also in demand on the domestic market.

    • C grade – sawn logs with healthy and dead branches of significant size for the production of load-bearing constructions (rafters, beams, struts, etc.).
